Troutman Rotary Donates School Supplies

The Rotary Club of Troutman partnered with S.C.A.N. (Stop Child Abuse Now), a local nonprofit organization, and Elmers Corporation, to provide school supplies to the Troutman Middle School.Troutman1

Troutman Middle School has 60 percent of their students who are eligible are free lunch due to poverty levels.

S.C.A.N. provided 700 pencils. Elmers provided glue, glue sticks, paint pens, pencil sharpeners, paper cutters, and markers. The members of the Rotary Club of Troutman purchased art supplies, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, composition notebooks, folders, markers, pencils, earbuds, paint, and folders. Over $1,000.00 of supplies were provided.
