On November 17, 2016, the Rotary Club of Cabarrus County celebrated becoming a 100% Paul Harris Club for the first time in its history. A goal set forth by the club's foundation chair Alan Goodman, the club worked hard to accomplish it through points and giving. "It was an important goal to our club in this 100th centennial year of the Foundation", said President Ben Rose. The club has worked hard to promote the Rotary Foundation to its members and emphasize giving to the Foundation as they can. 33 Paul Harris Fellows were installed on this day. District Governor Tom Smith, District Foundation Chair Joe Morris, and Assistant Governor JC McKenzie were present. The club did a promotion afterwards called "The Unselfie Selfie" where members expressed why they donated to the Foundation.
