Andrew Knotts

Andrew began making art at a very young age, but started painting seriously in high school. His love for art carved a path for multiple scholastic awards and top awards in several competitions. Andrew primarily works in oil or acrylic, and when not doing commissions, he creates art that focuses on themes of identity and purpose, allowing art to function as an outlet to process life and express emotions that are hard to put into words. Andrew is currently a senior at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in studio art and computer science. At Chapel Hill he is the graphic designer for App Team Carolina and Kappa Theta Pi technical fraternity. He also does freelance designing for other organizations on campus. After school Andrew plans to continue painting with hopes of working in a tech design role. You can see his art on Instagram @andrewknottsart.
