The Alleghany Rotary Club donated over 100 blankets to the Back Pack Program, which serves children in need grades K-5. Pictured here with the blankets are (L – R) Rotarian Larkin Bell, Dawn Schwab, Larry Myers (Director of the Solid Rock Food Closet), and Jay Schwab. The Schwabs are new to town and pitched in to help the cause by going to Mooresville to make the bulk purchase.
This project was funded by the Port-o-Pit chicken dinners Rotary has been having. Our next one is December 2 in front of Sparta School. Please come out and make more good things possible in our community!
